Thai Bhat currency

Excel 2002 has BahtText function and Thai (t) number formatting. In previous versions of Excel you can do your own custom number formatting or in Excel 2002 as well for compatibility with previous versons.

The following works better if you have unseen fractional paise (cents)
[>=10000000.00]##\,##\,##\,##0.00;[>=100000.00]##\,##\,##0.00;##,##0.00

than what I used to post as
[>9999999.99]##\,##\,##\,##0.00;[>99999.99]##\,##\,##0.00;##,##0.00

This format separates groups for India/Thailand, format valid for positive numbers up to 99,99,99,999.99 or 999,999,999.99) [Rupees, Rs., Paise, lakhs, crores]

Negative numbers will display as -10,000,000.00 or as (10,000,000.00) depending on your regional settings.

in Excel XP see function BhatText as in Thai Bhat currency. =BAHTTEXT(A37) Or use the Thai custom number format.

The help information in the Related Area is for Excel 2002, but everyone using file would have to have Excel 2002 so there would be no advantage in using Excel 2002's BhatText function if exchanging files.

I managed to update one of Microsoft's links above, sorry, but the half life of a Microsoft link is about six months. You can pretty much assume that you will not find urls at Microsoft that end in .htm or .html anymore most now end in .aspx (you can assume what you want about .aspx, but you have no choice with Microsoft). You may be able to find the new links with a
Google search: inurl:microsoft.com bahttext -inurl:mspress function
