sensitive data being compared do not use online tools, use a separate application on your own
computer instead.

This is the one I normally use, and you can paste in the file location instead of text. But this one failed
miserably because of colon next to keywords in one file and not in the newer file.
Compare Plain Text - Combined - No Navigation★ ★Favorite for plain text.★ Combined in single list. Red crossed out for deletions, Green for insertions. Switch between comparing whole lines, words and characters until you obtain the desired results. Be sure to use options: "Show all identical paragraphs / lines", and "Compare whole words". /li>
Bring up each of the above links into separate tabs. My interest here was in showing all text, not just differences within some surrounding text. If you had just a few changes in thousands of lines you would probably choose to show differences within some disjointed text clippings.

If there are options, I chose, "Word compare", and if asked about showing identical content, I chose "Show all identical paragraphs / lines".
Next press the Compare button.
