So a guess would be that you want to see only a particular total
level.
   Press one of the  [+]  buttons on the left.

Having a list of totals, the next guess is that you want to copy only
those totals.   (Select only visible cells in the current selection )
There is a button and a shortcut for Select Visible Cells,
the button looks like four rectangles within the toolbar button and is
found on the 
   Edit, GoTo, Select Visible Cells        -or-
   ALT+; (semicolon)                           -or-
   Select visible cells toobar button, add from the Edit toolbar in customize

Having select visible cells only from the current selection you can paste
them elsewhere.
