GML (Generalized Markup Language) was invented by Charles F. Goldfarb of IBM in the 1960's, he is also co-creator of SGML (Standard Generalized Markup Language).

Both HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and XML (Extensible Markup Language) are subsets of SGML.

HTML sites

These were simply pulled out of my BookMarks, I will not update the links on the page.   I also am not likely to extract them from my bookmarks again if bookmarks are no longer kept in HTML pages, and descriptions cannot be added to bookmarks.  Also being able to sort bookmarks in an HTML file has been dropped from Netscape and none of this is available in Internet Explorer.  A REXX macro was used to show the actual urls.  (HTMLDOC)
