Special instructions are needed because of the pervasive nature of NetZero.  NetZero takes over the desktop rendering it useless for you and messes up the taskbar usually by hiding it.

Obtaining NetZero for installation

See http://www.netzero.net, sign up for the free email and web -- do not sign up for the pay for versions.  More instructions of setting up your system are on by webnofee page, but the installation will set up your files for you.

Questions you will be asked for in setting up an account.

The opt-out appears to have been replaced by an opt-in for additional Email advertising.  Your desktop will be covered/hidden anyway with advertising.

You will be asked this same information several times over once you are again on line -- fortunately the blanks are already filled in.

Installation directed questions
