Using a PostScript printer with SPF/PC

  1. The PRINT screen command set up in PRINTER CHARACTERISTICS will append screen print to specified printer file.
  2. The PRINTSPF.BAT command will bring up the PRINTSPF.TXT file.
  3. The @print.spf command can be used to print.

How this page was composed for html

  1. Each screen was "printed" to file c:\printspf.txt, because that is what is set up in printer characteristics.
  2. PRINTSPF.bat was invoked to edit the c:\printspf.txt file.
  3. File was edited to remove duplicate (blank) lines REMDUPS, and manually removed other unwanted lines with FIND, DEL NX.
  4. The HTML file SPF09.htm was created from printspf.txt file with the create command.
  5. TXT2HTML.spf was invoked to convert content of file to HTML code.  Macro contains special codings for some formatting box characters and arrows besides normal formatting required for HTML.
